| Bio: | Oceanas Recs... Now, what could that be about?Oh, right, recommendations! Fic recommendations! The majority of recs on this page will be slash. Yes, that's right, men doing men, hot, sweaty sex and more. Also women doing women, but not as often. If you don't like that, you should leave. Which fandoms do I rec in? Well, I'm a fannish trollop. My main fandom is Stargate, but lately I have developed a slight case of NCIS obsession. Expect to see every pairing, but mainly Gibbs/DiNozzo. Other fandoms include Highlander, Stargate Atlantis, Doctor Who, Sentinel, X-Files, Harry Potter, Farscape, CSI, Andromeda, Jeremiah, Sports Night and West Wing. Last time I looked there were recs in 30 different fandoms, so there should be something for everyone. What kind of stories do I rec? Anything I enjoy. I have no system. I am looking for quality, but the stories I rec do not have to be perfect. All the stories I rec have something special, something that I want others to see, that makes me want to share them. This special something can be a good plot, an interesting style, good characterisation, but sometimes it will only be a rare pairing or an original description. Or maybe just a hot sex scene... My recs seem to follow no system either. Sometimes I can put into words what I like about a story, sometimes all I can say is "Guh, hotness." I've been trying to find a way to become a "serious reccer" for a while, but my brain just won't cooperate. Oh well, I hope you enjoy the recs anyway. I also rec music vids when I can find the time. I try to get permission from all vidders before I rec their vids, but if I have overlooked something and you want a link removed, please let me know and I will do so immediately. Why I don't give warnings. Well, I do give warnings. But only sometimes. Only if I would want to be warned about a fic. And my opinion on this may be different than yours. I assume that if you read my recs, you are not only old enough to read NC-17, but you are mature enough to deal with adult themes. Which is not the same. Death fic, underage, BDSM, rape, kinks...if the author doesn't warn you, neither will I. (But mostly my taste is a little more vanilla...) Why you should look at my friends page.
